Staged Reading of The Secret Garden
November 01, 2015, 6:00PM

A sneak peek at our new adaptation! One of the gardens was locked up. Mr. Craven had it shut when his wife died so sudden. He locked the door and buried the key. No one has been in it for ten years. Mary herself was ten years old. Ten years without any tending at all. She wondered whether anything was still alive. Surprising things can happen to any one who, when a disagreeable or discouraged thought comes into his mind, just has the sense to remember in time to push it out by putting in an agreeable determinedly courageous one. Two things cannot be in one place. Where, you tend a rose, a thistle cannot grow.
