Staged Reading of Face The Day
April 24, 2016, 7:30PM

A sneak peek at The New Colony’s Associate Company Members’ upcoming world premiere June production!

What would you do if you looked in the mirror and literally saw the person you swore you’d never be? Gill is a TV personality whose life is on track – solid career, lovely fiancé, a baby on the way. Everything is thrown into chaos when Gill has a freak accident on the same day as her estranged mother overdoses. Gill wakes up in the hospital after having had a face transplant. Her new face, however, is one that she recognizes. Face the Day, a sci-fi dramedy, explores if your reflection determines your future.

We invite you to come and listen to this new script which has been in development for the last four months! The reading will last approximately 90 minutes, followed by a talkback with director JD Caudill. Your feedback is crucial to our process of developing new plays, so please come and share your thoughts and help shape the show!
