As they wait to sell their suburban house, Lucy’s family imagines a vibrant, new life in Chicago. However, Lucy has a different vision for her future.  She wants to self-actualize and live as her true self: a powerful dragon named Kreeka. When her family discovers this secret, Lucy must choose between them and a new community known as Otherkin, a group of people who identify as magical, non-human creatures.  As Lucy embraces Kreeka, she meets a young man claiming to be an elf, a giant gnome named Blubberwort, and a werewolf from Montana, who show her how to live a life driven by faith and a love of the fantastic.
