Zach Zimmerman

Zach Zimmerman is a performer and writer in Chicago. He has performed across the U.S. with the The Second City Theatricals, ImprovAcadia, Mission Improvable, iO Theatre, and Baby Wants Candy. As a writer, he penned the libretto of musicals ResCol: A New Musical and Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, produced at Princeton University, and co-wrote and performed in Chicago Reader-recommended Steamwerkz: The Musical (Annoyance Theatre). As a solo artist, he has written and performed two solo shows Straight Man (iO, PIT, Princeton University) and Sunday School (PIT). He also tells unfortunately true stories around Chicago, appearing at Filet of Solo, Story Club, and ORAL (Annoyance). At Princeton University, he was the Artistic Director of Quipfire Improv Comedy and a head writer of the Princeton Triangle Club, which allowed him to sing his own repetitive lyric “Love loves lovers” on the Tony-Award-winning McCarter Theatre stage.
