Tara Sissom was made Art Director, Marketing Director and a company member of The New Colony after making her Chicago debut in TNC’s Frat and Tupperware: An American Musical Fable. She recently performed in and co-wrote with Evan Linder, 11:11 which ran at the Victory Garden’s Biograph Studio for 5 weeks. Currently she is working on designing and maintaining this lovely website you’re looking at, and singing in the band for That Sordid Little Story which opens July 8th at the Viaduct. Tara graduated from Elon University with BFA in Music Theatre and Digital Art and is a proud Company Member at B Street Theatre in Sacramento, CA as well as a member of the Raja Bean Trio. Tara’s Regional Theatre Credits include: Flat Rock Playhouse, NC; Post Playhouse, NE; The Helen Stairs Theatre, FL;  The Orlando Civic Theatre, FL; B Street Theatre, CA. TV/Film Credits: The Magical World of Disney, ABC; You’re On! Nickelodeon; Gi-Ho-Lo, The Legacy of Richard Long, Winner of the International 48 Hour Film Festival. Additionally, Tara works as a freelance graphic designer for artists, theatres, and arts organizations all over the country. Tara is looking forward to writing the first show of TNC’s Season 3, Pancake Breakfast.
