Sarah Laeuchli grew up in eight different countries and can categorically declare that Chicago is the best place on earth. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Sarah has assistant directed with Pig Iron Theatre Company, La Jolla Playhouse and New York Theatre Workshop. She has worked internationally with the Hungarian National Theatre and the Center for International Theatre Development. In Chicago, she was a company member and the director of new play development for Halcyon Theatre Company for two and a half years; her Chicago directing credits include Diana of Dobson’s with Halcyon and The Dogwood Triptych with Pretty/Windy. She is most proud of The Girl in the Mirror, a collaborative piece she devised with an amazing group of Dartmouth students, and of a killer pac man cake she once made for an 80s themed potluck.
