Nathan Rohrer happily welcomes the opportunity to work with The New Colony, after the overwhelming success of Tupperware: An American Musical Fable last season. With an extensive palate in dance design, Nathan has designed numerous works for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s second company, as well as River North Chicago Dance, Deeply Rooted Dance Chicago, and Thodos Dance Chicago. He has also designed for Emerald City Theatre, City Lit Theatre, Mythic Proportions Theatre, and Lincoln Square Theatre. Additionally, Nathan has had the opportunity to work extensively with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for three years, and has also worked with Giordano Jazz Dance, Jump-Rhythm Jazz Project, Northwestern University, the Manhattan School of Music, and Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. Nathan hails from Beloit, Wisconsin, and received his B.A. in Drama from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2006.
