michael was born in savannah, ga. where he learned his abc’s and 123’s. in kindergarten, he started rocking out playgrounds around town with his rousing version of “patty cake,”  then would close with “i’m bringing home a baby bumblebee.”  he picked up the guitar in high school, and the piano in college (though the piano was heavy, so he put it back down…)

after wandering through the appalachia of north carolina for four years, michael has stopped his wanderin’ for now and has found a place that he calls sweet home chicago (he believes that he is the first to use this phrase and plans on writing a song about it in the near future).
