Megan Johns

Meg Johns is believed to one day spontaneously combust in a fury of glitter and animal calls. She first loved wolves as a native Virginian (no there aren’t wolves there) and has been in Chicago loving owls since 2003. She trained at improv olympic (i.o.) and The Annoyance, now teaching improv and silliness to anyone who wants to play. She has written and performed in several shows at The Annoyance: Stop That Show!; Love is Dead (which went the NYC Fringe Festival); and Late Nite Tit Bits Burlesque, to name a few. She also does sketch and improv with mulitple groups of amazing people like Chewties! (bright lights) and Friendship Soulmate Porno. In addition to performing and teaching, Meg also enjoys directing improv, one-acts, and other theatrical excursions. She is a proud member of The New Colony, and has been in FRAT!, Tupperware the Musical, and 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche, which won several awards at the 2010 Sketchbook Festival. She also directed TNC’s 11:11 in February 2010 at Victory Gardens. Despite many attempts at yoga and meditation, Meg is constantly moving and is quite positive that 5 hours of sleep is enough to live on. Aside from constantly falling in love with her brilliant friends in TNC, she does also fall in love with a lot of other magical things. Now everybody - LET’S HUG!!!!!!!!!!!
