Jamie Olah is a theatre artist and educator specializing in devised physical theatre. She originated Chicago Playwrights Group, a club where theatre creators gather to share their work and receive feedback. She established Firefly Storytelling, an organization that provides improvised interactive storytelling for children. She also co-founded and served as Artistic Director for Grassroots Theatre Project, which produced site-specific theatre in collaboration with local businesses. Jamie has had the pleasure of working as an artist with Dell’Arte International, Pursuit Productions, Prologue Theatre, Walkabout Theatre, Food & Performance, Dal Vivo Theatre, Red Tape Theatre, Bailiwick Theatre, Apple Tree Theatre, The Moving Dock Theatre Co., and Premier Theatre & Performance. Her training includes red nose clown, mask work of all types, mime, physical theatre, playwriting, and the Michael Chekhov acting technique.
