Evan Sesek is so happy to be working on his fourth New Colony project after acting and writing for two Associate Company shows and workshopping/understudying Evan Linder’s BYHALIA, MISSISSIPPI. A native Chicagoan, but raised in the foothills of Boise, Idaho, he worked as an actor with The Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Boise Contemporary Theater, where he was in the world premiere of Samuel D. Hunter’s NORWAY and Kim Rosenstock’s TIGERS BE STILL. Evan has also worked with the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference as a playwright and actor for six years. His plays have had workshops, readings, and productions at Chicago Dramatists, The New Colony, Vivarium Theatre, Boise State University, Alley Repertory Theater, Northwest Playwrights Alliance, Seattle Rep, and idTheater/Seven Devils, among others. He has also received three Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival awards for his plays. Go Browns.
